THE STARTUP COMPETITION 2020
On the 7th of March 2020, AIxEntrepreneurs Abu Dhabi hosted "The Pitch" - a startup competition where high school students had the opportunity to pitch their AI-enabled startup ideas to a panel of honored judges. Our students had worked tirelessly for 6 weeks in preparation for the competition - guided and mentored throughout the incubation process by Founder and Instructor, Aashi Tyagi. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Federal Youth Authority's Abu Dhabi Youth Hub for lending us their space.

Nakul pitching 'SMSOS' - a business idea that uses techniques of natural language processing, sentiment analysis and classification to analyze tweets for faster, more effective help in disaster management.
Leen, Ferishte and Karem pitching 'Guardner' - a startup idea that combines the ML concept of linear regression with robotics to create a fully automatic gardening system that ensures optimal conditions for plant growth thereby eliminating inefficiencies such as water/fertilizer wastage.
Macauley and Ali pitching 'HealthBud' - an app that connects low-income earners and individuals with dietary restrictions to quality, budget eateries.
Adeeb and Faisal (not present) pitching Sentinel - a startup idea that at the core features an algorithm that can classify online news articles as fake or real, making our web a place for factual journalism.
We honored our students' commitment to learning and hard work by handing out certificates. The event marked the culmination of the 6 week long intensive.
